About A.F. Tapper

I began woodworking to make improvements to my own home after working decades in the building trades as a master electrician. My love for the craft soon turned into an ambition to design and create original fine furniture.

One of my home improvement projects was this bathroom vanity made from cherry and black walnut. My wife Jenny and I worked together to design the vanity for durability and utility. We added the antique tile to enhance the beauty of the wood.

Many of my designs, whether for my home or for a customer, are meant to be used and enjoyed. This Jefferson case contains a sliding surface in the drawer so that it can be used as a standing desk as well as a display case.
